In a group of 4, we were required to submit a synopsis of a text during the tutorial session. The objective of this synopsis was for students to read a selected reading in relation to the theme that has been discussed in class and submit a synopsis of it. other than that, we were also required to identify architecture or urban schemes to illustrate the theme.
From this exercise, i have learnt to identify the different architectural theories which inform the development of architecture and urban forms. Also, with the help of my group mates, we managed to analyse and critique the relationship between architecture and its social, cultural, and intellectual context. it was also a good experience for us to discuss and share our opinions throughout the presentation session.
